We are on mission for great changes

GEET is dedicated to the education, skill development and well-being of girls from the vulnerable sections of society.

Gender based discrimination against female children is pervasive in India. It is seen in all the strata of society and manifests in various forms. Providing opportunities to the young girls to develop leadership skills, through education and healthy living is, therefore, a grave need.

While “Adopt a Girl Child” gives psychological satisfaction to the donor, its impact is at best marginal.

We at GEET feel that an institutional approach is much more result-oriented. There are institutions which have well-intentioned programmes and activities to support girls. However, their performance is sub-optimal because of limited availability of teaching and material resources. Meaningful and focused support to these institutions yields better returns, in terms of benefits to a large number of girls.
